“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”

Psalm 139:14a

(The wisdom literature books in the Old Testament contain so many verses worthy of knowing.  Here is one to get started there.)

The next time you feel unimportant and of no value, remember this verse.  Remember that God made you the person you are, and as one preacher says, “God don’t make no junk.”  Instead of questioning Him about any “imperfections” you notice in yourself, praise Him for the wonderful qualities you have.  “Marvelous” indeed are His works – including you.
