Welcome to Lakeview!
If you are visiting with us for our gospel meeting this week, then welcome to Lakeview! We are glad you have chosen to be with us. Please stay around long enough for us to meet and get to know one another
Sometimes it can be difficult going to a strange place. We want to make your time here as easy as possible. For your convenience, we have a nursery in the first door to the right down the hallway on the water fountain side of the foyer. At the end of the same hallway you will find the men’s and women’s restrooms. At the end of the other hallway we have a wheelchair accessible restroom.
As you look around the building and/or observe the activities that take place, some questions may come to your mind. You may wonder why you do not see certain things here that you are used to seeing at other places of worship. Maybe we do something that seems strange to you. Something may be said that you do not understand. We do not want you to leave with any unanswered questions. Please ask us any that you may have, and we will do our best to provide an answer.
You may even disagree with something you see or hear. Please share any disagreement(s) with us so that we may sit down together and see what God has to say in His word about the matter. After all, we will be judged “in the last day,” not by our opinions, but by His word (John 12:48).
God designed the church to be “the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Tim 3:15). As His church, this is our mission here at Lakeview. Our brother Joel Plunkett has come to lead us in our quest for the truth this week. He will be presenting sermons Sunday at 10am and 3:30pm, and each night Monday - Friday at 7pm (We will have a singing Sunday at 2:30pm.). Each sermon will be recorded and available on our website (www.biblesaints.com) shortly after being presented.
Also, please browse the tract rack in the foyer. We have tracts available on various subjects. Feel free to take any that may be of interest to you.
