“I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

Luke 13:3

Jesus made this statement when some people reported the death of certain Galileans, implying their deaths were because of their terrible sins.  He let them know that all sin will cause one to perish.

Can you look around and see people doing things you consider worse than you have ever done?  Don’t let it make you feel better about your own sin.  The wages of sin – all sin, including yours – is death (Romans 6:23).  God would rather you repent than perish (2 Peter 3:9).  The choice is yours.
